Plan Access allows advisors to share and control access to the plan by inviting clients and applicable professionals to the planning process. There is no limit to the number of clients or professionals invited, so participants like the client’s children or caregiver may also be granted access. Trusted professionals like accountants, lawyers, and peers can be invited to view or contribute to the planning process. User credentials are managed via a self-service interface for security and convenience.
Granting access to the plan is the key to digital engagement. The access allows clients to assist in entering financial data and planning elements, review results, or simply engage the plan in the Workshop.
Plan Access allows the advisor to control what actions are available to the shared client or professional user. The system offers the ability to limit the shared user capability to view or edit data in specific modules of the system. For instance, the shared user may only be granted access to view the Profile and confirm previously entered data, or even be granted permission to complete the data gathering process. Advisors can assign where clients land when logging into the system to help focus the client conversation or desired user activity.
Professionals only need one login even if multiple clients are shared with them. A client navigator is provided to allow access to multiple clients or even sharing with multiple advisors. Access is controlled at the individual client level, so a professional user’s access can be quickly removed or changed when their role changes.
