Scenarios are the workhorse of the planning process in PlantechHub. Users can create multiple scenarios to model planning choices to clients by applying individual planning Actions. Actions are the actionable planning choices used to customize scenarios to build the planning conversation.
The Scenarios module is the work desk for advisors to execute planning by creating scenarios with combinations of underlying Actions. Advisors are able to create multiple different scenarios to look at the plan in different ways and choose a single one as their Shared Scenario with the client.
The Workshop module is the client sandbox. Advisors may grant access to the Workshop for clients who want to have a place to examine their own planning choices without impacting the advisor’s planning execution. Advisors can view the client's Workshop to help answer additional questions that the client may have after working in the sandbox.
The Suggested Actions module is a digital or printed planning result and delivers the advisors suggestions from their Shared Scenario. When offered digitally, the client may see the effects of the advisor's suggestions individually, iteratively, or holistically. The Suggested Actions are also saved in the Profile History, creating a compliance checkpoint for the client plan delivery. If a client agrees with an Advisor's Suggested Actions, they can be Adopted and absorbed into the Current Plan as part of a Living Plan.
Actions are the scenario components which are leveraged to affect client choices on the plan. These are the levers which allow the user to alter items like asset additions, retirement, goal expenses, discretionary expenses, or real asset characteristics. Users may also create new goals or recharacterize assets within the scenarios. Since actions are added individually, a selective list of suggestions can be provided to the client which focuses the current planning conversation.
